I began reading this novel when it was free on Amazon. Com and
fell in love with it right away. It took me into some Native American
traditions that I did not know about. I loved the shifter/ Were aspect of the
story. I also fell completely for Talisa. Who is a seventeen year old Native
American girl with some serious issues to work through.
Jamie Haden has a wonderful way with words and can take your imagination on the adventure of a lifetime. She makes the reader feel a part of the action. I felt the anticipation for her impending birth and the issues that she had the Other Ones. The Other Ones are the people that have set out to destroy her, because of her unique gifts.

I found this book to be a very interesting read and would
recommend it to others. I started out just reading this book and in the process
became a fan. I look forward to reading more of her books.
