 Synopsis:

It's not easy being a girl. It's even harder when you're the only girl in a family of werewolves. But it's next to impossible when your very existence spells out the doom of your race... Meet Jessica McClain -- she just became part of the pack.

In the vein of Kelley Armstrong and Patricia Briggs, a new urban fantasy that rewrites the werewolf myth...

My review:

I loved this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I stayed up way into the night reading it, when I really should have been sleeping. 4 A.M. is not an appropriate bedtime for anyone. I loved the characters (even the ones I hated) and thoroughly enjoyed following them through their challenges. I became part of the story at some point although I cannot for the life of me figure out exactly when that happened. I was overjoyed with the way the story and characters evolved. I have one complaint and one complaint only... It. Just. Ends. No resolution or even partial resolution. It just stops, now I understand that this would be a great thing for a cliffhanger or the beginning of a series, which I am sure this is, but you need some kind of resolution. Even if it is just a teaser for the next book. Cliffhangers lead us to the next book. This just stopped. Kind of like this review.

Synopsis:

A Montana town where no one is who they seem....

Everything about runaway heiress Ainsley McLeon screamed trouble—from her luscious midnight locks to her Louboutin-clad toes.  Yet sexy, stoic bar owner Luc couldn’t deny the instant connection he felt to the tempting stranger…or the long-dead feelings she evoked.  She could work in his pub until her truck was fixed but after that she had to leave town for good.

Ainsley traveled with her own emotional baggage and there was no way she'd fall for the bear-tempered Luc...no matter how many passionate nights she spent in his bed or how safe she felt in his muscular arms. Can these two opposites find love in the middle of a blizzard, or will Luc's darker side and Ainsley's past catch up with them?

My review:

I loved that this had an actual storyline and wasn't a wham bam thank you ma'am novel. I want to read more! It had it's hot and sexy erotic moments to it, that brought out the fan. I loved the paranormal aspects of it. The title gave me the giggles, the story intrigued me and fulfilled my shifter need for the week. The author did a good job at pulling you in right from the beginning and stringing you along the entire book. If you love shifter romance, and want something more that werewolves, then this is the book for you!

Synopsis of Charmed by Erica Ridley

Daisy le Fey is good at a lot of things. Math, science, accidentally turning people into pumpkins... Unfortunately, she's not good at the one thing hiring managers look for when filling open positions for magical beings: Magic.

When she jeopardizes her apprenticeship by getting involved with sexy mortal Trevor Masterson, it's one disaster too many. In order to stay out of purgatory, she's going to have to ditch the human--and her one chance at true love.

Charmed made me happy!
My review:

All I can say is that I was charmed by Charmed. Daisy's appearance in a tent as a tooth fairy had me in fits of laughter the majority of the book. I loved the interaction with Trevor as well as her parents and her best friend. Who would of thought that there would be a bad tooth fairy. Well in all fairness Daisy isn't bad she is just not a very magical fairy. I loved the book and will be recommending it to all my friends that like a little laugh with their romance!

About the author:

Erica Ridley learned to read when she was three, which was about the same time she decided to be a writer when she grew up. Over the course of her school years, she graduated from self-illustrated stories written in crayon to dramatic sagas filling reams of spiral notebooks.
Now, Erica writes paranormal, fantasy, and historical romances. Her Gothic debut, TOO WICKED TO KISS, released in 2010, followed by TOO SINFUL TO DENY in 2011. Never Been Bitten, a vampire romance, appeared in the 2012 anthology BORN TO BITE along with fellow authors Hannah Howell and Diana Cosby.
Erica is currently working on a new trilogy of contemporary romantic comedies featuring heroes and heroines from the fantastical world of Nether-Netherland. The first, LOVE, LUST AND PIXIE DUST, debuted in December 2012. The second, WANDS, WISHES AND GENIE KISSES, launches in summer 2013. The third, FATE, FIRE AND DEMON DESIRE, comes out late fall 2013.
When not reading or writing romances, Erica can be found riding camels in Africa, zip-lining through rainforests in Costa Rica, or getting hopelessly lost in the middle of Budapest.
