Murder on Mars by M.M. Shelley

REVIEW:

I really liked this book, having not done my homework prior to reading this novel, I was pleasantly surprised right from the beginning. It had a few quarks that could be easily fixed but for the most part this was a great story.  In some aspects it is a little over the top but it is a fantasy and one that I think has great potential should the author decide to write a sequel.

The characters are likeable and easy to relate with. This is always a good thing for me as a reader. The author’s ability to take you through the twist and turns of the story without giving away anything, at some points even leaving you confused, is wonderful.  The only issues I had with it were minor grammar issues, which caused me to get distracted and trip every now and again. Things like the word than instead of then along with closes instead of closest were just a couple of the minor issues in this novel. It is also something I am guilty of doing myself when I write.

4 out of 5 apples!
