I have been plugging away at books and reviews lately, and though I still have some in my cue to put up, I felt it important that tonight's post be a bit more personal.
This year has been pretty crappy. I won't go into a lot of details, but I will say this has been the worst year ever. We lost two grandchildren a month apart, our home, our car, and the list goes on. The school system here denied my child the right to return to school because of last years absences. (long complicated story)
But there has been some good things that happened too. We moved into a hotel and we have gotten closer to our children that are still home, and been able to focus on getting out of the financial bind we put ourselves in. So much has happened, but I am thankful that we are able to comfort one another.
My oldest moved away after the baby died and there was a pause in communication but things have settled down. My other two daughters are trying to decide how they want to move forward with their education and life. I have been working on my books and doing a lot of reviews.
I know things could be a lot worse for us and so I am thankful for the chance we have right now to get back on our feet. I am also thankful for the time we got to spend with Sabrina before she flew away from us with her shiny new wings. I miss her a lot, and I miss her mother that has started her new life far away.
Enjoy a few pictures of my wonderful family.
