Two lines
That is all it took
For us to fall in love
A few weeks
That is all we needed
To have you forever in our hearts

It took to bring us to tears

Today was exceptionally hard day for us here at our home. This morning filled with excitement we traveled the distance for an ultrasound. The first ultrasound. We thought about the way the baby might look. I was so anxious to see you I did not sleep all night. When we saw you on the screen, I was surprised you were smaller than we thought you would be. Then the lady said she was sorry, and my heart broke. I hurt for my child and the loss she has had.
I will be taking this week to grieve, I hope everyone understands.
