Synopsis:

Monica Appleby is a woman with a reputation. Once she was America’s teenage “Wild Child,” with her own reality TV show. Now she’s a successful author coming home to Bishop, Arkansas, to pen the juicy follow-up to her tell-all autobiography. Problem is, the hottest man in town wants her gone. Mayor Jackson Davies is trying to convince a cookie giant to move its headquarters to his crumbling community, and Monica’s presence is just too . . . unwholesome for business. My Review:

I wasn't sure what to expect when I decided I wanted to review it. I was afraid that it would be like all the others I have been reading lately and I am so glad that I was wrong. The characters were delightfully flawed and this made them more real to me. I loved the unease you felt with each turn of the page as the storyline wound its way through one set of hoops only to have to dive into another set shortly there after. The biggest thing to me in this book was that fact that the family turmoil was a lot like mine in many ways and I loved the way Molly decided that the characters were going to get through the book. I know this is a romance but in many ways for me it was a lifemance and if order for you to understand that you have to get the book and read it.
